All of our Whirlies are hand cut from lightweight marine grade woods then hand painted with the finest quality primer and enamel sign paint to ensure years and years of long lasting brilliant colors without fading. Each one is perfectly balanced to ensure it flies with the gentlest of breezes. Solid brass and zinc hardware is utilized to prevent rusting. Each one is signed by the artists. We reside on the coast of the Pacific Northwest, frequently receiving high winds and gusts up to 100mph. Our test garden here makes certain all our whirlies can handle these harsh environmental conditions. Great for decoration, enjoyable to watch and the vibration from the wing movement will help keep those pesky moles out of your garden.

Both 3' and 5' tall copper mounting posts of natural copper may be purchased separately for the Propeller and Spinner versions. (See Pricing Page for post amounts.) The 5' post is coupled half way down for ease of mounting and shipping. The natural copper will eventually patina on its own. If you would rather not wait, you may also choose our custom hand processed blue-green patina post which will continue to evolve and change over time.

Fliers  This is a uniquely different design which, with a little wind, emulates the actual graceful up and down movement of wings in flight. Each one suspends from virtually invisible UV resistant nylon line attached to a ring which may be hung from any hook or nail. Hang outdoors under an eve or on a low lying tree limb, indoors they fly with the air generated by a ceiling fan. Children love them! Ideal for above a child's bed, great for easy entertainment.
