Decorator
ship model presented to us for complete restoration by the Douglas
Family. This type of model was very popular throughout the 1960's
and 70's and though not museum quality they are gaining in popularity
throughout the country.
The hand
carved wooden hull was repaired and completely repainted. The
base was broken, new supports were made and the entire base was
painted. Numerous repairs and replacements were made to the deck
hardware and furnishings. All detail work was repainted.

All new
sails were made of sail cloth fabric and painted to match the
original. New block and tackle hardware and all new rigging was
secured into place.
A lovely
decorative model.
